Overview

Paratus Investigations and Security Consulting  was founded by Karl Swope, who has  over 20 years of experience in both public and private sector investigations, and he has personally investigated hundreds of frauds in a wide variety of industries. His work includes fraud examinations and financial investigations in cases of embezzlement, larceny, financial statement, finance, and warranty fraud. Karl began his career as a Boarding Officer in the United States Coast Guard. After the Coast Guard, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oregon State University and a Master of Science degree in Security Administration from Bellevue University. Professional credentials include: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International; and Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) through the International Association of Interviewers.
